Janet graduated from Stanford University with a BA in 1963 and from Columbia University with a Certificate of Physical Therapy in 1964. She started Nesin Therapy Services in 1987 with three employees. The initial practice focused on supplying physical therapy for home health patients and nursing homes. She has a Neuro-Development Treatment, Adult Hemiplegia Certification. Her special interests include manual therapy techniques such as neuro-developmental techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques and soft tissue mobilization techniques.
As President of Nesin Therapy Services, Janet sets goals, standards and operating guidelines. She supervises personnel, monitors levels of patient care, and insures compliance with Medicare and other insurance company guidelines.
Janet spends a great deal of time on her farm in Tennessee where she rides horses, plays with tractors and big machinery. She also enjoys traveling with her family and friends.
