Derrik graduated with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy in 1995. Initially working in a nursing home, he has experienced a variety of settings with both orthopedic and neurological patients. His career has included work in acute in-patient hospitals, rehabilitation hospital and outpatient orthopaedic clinics. He also participates in numerous continuing education courses each year with a special interest in manual therapy.

Derrik enjoys time at home with his family. Other interests include martial arts, magic and outdoor activities.
