Michelle received her BS in Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama in 1989. In 1992, she completed a six month post graduate residency in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) at Kaiser Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, California.
In 1993, she became an instructor for the Institute of Physical Art and teaches continuing education courses to physical therapist around the country. Since 1997, she has focused on orthopaedics and sports medicine. Michelle has worked with members of the US Olympic Ski team and internationally ranked triathlon team members during a year long manual therapy fellowship at Institute of Physical Art in 2001 and received certification as a Functional Manual Therapist in 2001.
Michelle is Board-Certified as an Orthopaedic Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and the American Physical Therapy Association. She is a co-owner and the Clinical Administrator of Nesin Therapy Services, as well as the Director of the Madison clinic.
Michelle enjoys numerous recreational activities including camping, bicycling, backpacking, and water sports. She has completed several marathons, numerous half marathons, and two Half Ironmans.
