Nesin Therapy Services was named the 2008 Small Business of the Year in the Personal Services Category at the Small Business Awards dinner on Thursday, September 21st. The annual event is sponsored by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce. Eighteen finalists were chosen from a record 93 nominees.
After being nominated, Nesin completed an extensive application process that included categories dedicated to: Small Business Challenges, Responses to Adversity, Company Strengths, Business Goals (both short and long term), Employment Growth, Inovativeness of Service, Community Involvement and recognition as well as Financials.
This award falls on the heels of Nesin Therapy Services also winning one of the Best Places to Work awards in April. Nesin was given this award based on the company's commitment to the highest quality care for the patients as well as the commitment to providing a caring environment for the staff that is conducive to the personal and professional growth of all.
