Michelle Nesin,PT, OCS, FCFMT, FAAOMPT COO, Physical Therapist

Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of
South Alabama in 1989. In 1993 she became an instructor for the Institute of Physical
Art. She teaches Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF I) , Functional
Orthopedics I (FOI) and Back Education and Training (BET) courses to physical
therapists and physical therapy assistants around the country. In 2000-2001, she
completed a year long manual therapy fellowship with Gregg Johnson, PT, FFCFMT.
While in Steamboat Springs, CO she worked with members of the US Olympic Ski team
and internationally ranked triathlon team members. In 2006, she was recognized as
a certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy association
(APTA). She completed her second fellowship with the IPA in 2009. She is a fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists (AAOMPT).  Michelle has been with Nesin Therapy since 1989 and is a co-owner and Chief Operations Officer.  Michelle has been teaching since 1994. She is presently the site director for Nesin Therapy’s nationally recognized APTA residency site in the specialty of orthopedic manual therapy.

Michelle loves spending time with her husband and son on their farm in Tennessee.  She enjoys numerous recreational activities including camping, bicycling, backpacking, and water sports. She has completed several marathons, half marathons, and Half-Ironmans.
