Jonathan graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Math. During his time at the University of Tennessee, Jonathan worked as a student athletic trainer. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1999 with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. Since that time, Jonathan has worked in orthopaedic and sports physical therapy in both Birmingham and Huntsville. Jonathan is Board-Certified as an Orthopaedic Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and the American Physical Therapy Association. He has completed advanced manual therapy training with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), obtaining credentials as a Certified Manual Physical Therapist in 2004 and a Certified Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapist in 2006. He completed a fellowship program with NAIOMT and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He has done doctoral work in orthopaedic manual physical therapy at Andrews University. |
